My name is Victória Carvalho, and my story with the United States began early, at age 14, when I had the opportunity to complete high school there. I arrived without speaking English, with many doubts, but driven by a dream and a genuine desire to build a different future.

This journey led me to obtain full scholarships and pursue an international academic path that broadened my worldview. I hold a bachelor's degree in Global Politics and Diplomacy from Miami University, where I deepened my interest in international relations and building bridges between cultures. Following that, I earned a master's degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid from Sciences Po, one of Europe's most renowned institutions, where I furthered my commitment to social causes and ethics in international relations. More recently, I completed my Juris Doctor at Drexel University in the United States, also with a full scholarshipconsolidating my legal training and expanding my professional practice into the legal and immigration fields.

This journey has shown me, in practice, that clear information, ethical guidance, and real access to opportunities are the pillars that make dreams possible. Unfortunately, I realized that many still face barriers due to a lack of honest and accessible guidance, and that's precisely what motivated me to create something different.

Thus, You Abroad USA was born, a consultancy that combines academic mentoring and licensed legal services, with the purpose of guiding people who wish to study, work, or live legally in the United States, always with transparency, empathy, and a genuine purpose.

Today, as a licensed attorney in the U.S. and mentor, my mission is to simplify paths and open doors, helping each client transform plans into achievements with the same care, ethics, and commitment that I wish I had found when I started.
